Swift Medical Inc., chief medical officer, Dr. Sheila Wang, has received the highest recognition from the Federation des médecins résidents du Quebec, a professional union that brings together the medical resident associations at University of Montreal, McGill University, University of Sherbrooke and Laval University.

Dr. Wang was one of five individual and team Excelsior Award recipients who were honoured for their outstanding projects. Her project focused on an app that supports at-home treatment and healing of wounds.

The other awardees were Drs. Catherine Tremblay and Catherine Besner Morin from the University of Montreal, Dr. David Paré from Laval University, Dr. Julie Côté-Leclerc from the University of Montreal, and a team of 21 residents from University of Sherbrooke.
